A dove lived on a tree by the side of a river. One day an ant came to drink river- water near the tree where the dove’ lived. But the ant was carried by a wave of the river and was struggling to survive. The dove saw this and dropped a leaf on the water. The ant caught hold of the leaf and the dove brought it on the ground.

Thus, the ant was saved. After some days, a hunter aimed his gun at the dove. This time the ant saw the hunter. Just as the hunter was about to pull the trigger of the gun, the ant gave a sharp bite on his thigh. The hunter missed the target and the dove flew away. Thus the ant paid back its gratitude to the dove.
