Substance: The poem tells of a girl whose father is a farmer. She accompanies her father when he goes out to the field at different stages of farming-ploughing, sowing the seeds and reaping the harvest.

She finds great pleasure in the nature. The sweet songs of different birds, and sights of the geese and the children, etc-all give them great enjoyment in the total process of farming. The girl and the father will also sing to express their joy in the farming work and the good harvest.
